Hong Kong Central Library

I was self studying in the Hong Kong Central Library last Saturday. It is the main public library in Hong Kong. Besides the district libraries, most of the services are provided here.

As a Hong Kong resident, we can apply for a library card, in order to use the facilities provided by the public library. However, as a tourist, you can still coming to this big library to enjoy the service, reading books, newspapers and attending the exhibitions.

The Central Library is located at Causeway Bay, just opposite to the Victoria Park, it is a 12-stories building and was opened in 2001.

Newest Foodcourt (Japanese style food court)

Last week, I discovered that a new food court (Official name is 'food theater' there)was opened in Sha Tin. It was originally a Japanese style department store - Seiyu. However, it is being under renovation for a few months. The grand new food court was opened in the late October. The food provided in this food court are mainly Japanese style. You can fine Japanese Burgers, sushi, tempura, ramen, Japanese sweetmeats here. Bakery, and some Chinese style dishes and Chinese BBQ food (siumei) are also provided here.

It attracts a crowd these couple of week, not only they are new, but also Hong Kong OL love Japanese food very much.

Last sunday, beside CityGate Outlets, I also went to other tourist attractions around CityGate Outlets. They include Ngong Ping, Giant Buddha Temple. I spent the afternoon in Ngong Ping and Giant Buddha and the evening at CityGate Outlets (I will post the photos soon). Very tired afterwards. :>

Victoria Park

The Victoria Park is located at Causeway Bay. The park was the main recreation and leisure place decades before. You can have a jog here, or simply have a walk. There are some facilities for Hong Kong people to enjoy, say, football court, tennis court, and children playground etc.

Moreover, you can enjoy have a big green grass area here. If you are living near Causeway Bay, come to have a walk, it is a very good place to relax in the metropolitan.
